“I’m so proud of you”:  When someone says this (to me, at least) and you can tell that they mean it with everything in their heart…. I’ve never been good with words, so this is no surprise -  but I don’t even know how to describe how it makes me feel.  “so happy”? so good, but in a way that for a second I feel like I can’t handle it.  I guess I’m not known to be especially emotional, but this was sincerely said to me and I’m assuming that I froze from some wave of feelings that I’m not accustomed to because I felt like what I had to do was immediately break eye contact to avoid erupting in tears.  Maybe it’s just something that happens as I get older, but I think that I’m more affected by moments like this than I’ve ever been.  I think that this is a good thing.  However, I’m having such a hard time allowing myself to be so affected by others. 

Half Price Books: The majority of the available balance in my checking account was spent here tonight.  I’m alright with this. 

Jimmy Johns: What wasn’t spent at Half Price Books was surely spent at Jimmy Johns tonight.  So what if a sandwich costs $6.75?

Riley: My dog.  He’s laying on the couch next to me and he keeps farting.  Dog farts smell so wretched.
